Quoting producer Kalaipuli S Thanu who had shared the announcement for the re-release for Sachein, Genelia wrote, "Sachein - Has my heart always." When Thanu acknowledged her tweet with a, "Thank You," the actor responded by thanking the producer for giving her the opportunity to act in the film.
