All eyes are on November 15, when the first glimpse of SS Rajamouli and Mahesh Babu’s upcoming film will be unveiled. Tentatively named as SSMB29, the film has Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran as the other actors.
According to a source, Rajamouli is planning to show a 3-minute video introducing all the characters of the film. The source also added that they are revealing the title of the film too at the same event.
KL Narayana is the producer and the makers are arranging a big event at RFC on September 15 and revealing something about the film. A special Varanasi set was also erected for this film in RFC. The event team has also organised a record LED TV for this event. In some social media circles some are predicting that the title is going to be ‘Varanasi’, but the source close to the makers have not confirmed it.
This is the first time that Rajamouli is arranging a big event about his upcoming film. For all his earlier films, Rajamouli revealed all his film stories in short and the cast before the shoot. However, with SSMB29, the maverick filmmaker has kept everything secret. The source also revealed that Rajamouli completed nearly 100 days of shoot that involved lead actor Mahesh Babu, Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran.
Apart from these three actors, there are some other prominent actors from different film industries also roped in for key roles. Rajamouli may reveal their names too at this big event. He also gave a hashtag for this film as 'GlobeTrotter' which is still going viral on social media.
MM Keeravani is providing music for this high budget film. Rajamouli is reportedly aiming to release this film in March 2027.
