Hari Hara Veera Mallu, the much anticipated Pawan Kalyan starrer had a worldwide release on Thursday morning, after registering staggering attendance for its premiere shows on Wednesday evening. While the fans are elated to see Pawan Kalyan back on the big screen in a quintessential heroic role, the audience reviews have been pouring in since last night, and remain largely lukewarm about the film’s entertainment value.

An X user with the username ‘shivampl999’ praised MM Keeravani’s music direction and the interval sequence, stating that it’s worth going for the movie again for that scene alone

Another user named MS Krishna Prateek too praised Keeravani’s music, and stated that the first half of the film is Pawan Kalyan’s best since Attarintiki Daaredi.

Meanwhile, there have been a few negative reviews about the overall storytelling in Hari Hara Veera Mallu

A username named 'PratyushaJS2' called the film ‘a missed opportunity,’ criticising various aspects of the film including the VFX, the many battle sequences and scriptwriting.

Another username called ‘cinema_babu’ described the second half of the film as ‘sleepfest.’

A username named ‘Josephmidhunb’ praised the film’s interval sequence, but also took note of the slow pace of the first half and the over-the-top quality of action sequences.

Meanwhile, the film has opened to full house occupancies across the Telugu speaking states. According to a report from Sacnilk.com, the film has recorded the best footfalls in Vijaywada, followed by Hyderabad. As of 1pm, the film has grossed over Rs 8.6 cr in India.

It remains to be seen if the film will break some of the domestic records set by films like Pushpa 2: The Rule and RRR

Produced under the banner of Mega Surya Productions, Hari Hara Veera Mallu also stars Bobby Deol and Nidhhi Agerwal. The film's direction was initially helmed by Krish Jagarlamudi. However, Jyothi Krisna took over the project later.
