Actor Prabhas turned a year older today, and the film industry is celebrating it. Prithviraj Sukumaran, the Baahubali actor's co-star in Salaar, also wished the latter on his birthday through his Instagram Stories space. Speaking of which, on the special occasion, it is worth remembering Prithviraj's comment about his Salaar co-actor's stardom in an old interview. Speaking to anchor Siddharth Kannan about his film Aadujeevitham: The Goat Life last year, Prithviraj said that he became friends with the Baahubali star during the making of Salaar.
Prithviraj said, "If you know him, it is impossible not to be friends with him. He is one of those guys. He will walk into this room and walk out, making us feel like we know him already." The actor also described Prabhas as a "sweet, down-to-earth guy" and as "one of the biggest stars the country has ever produced". Prithviraj added that Prabhas' lack of awareness about his own stardom is "something we all can learn from".
The two actors are expected to reunite for the sequel to Salaar, directed by KGF filmmaker Prashanth Neel. The Salaar sequel is part of the three projects that the actor, who is celebrating his birthday, has signed with Hombale Films.
