Vijay has made waves after his recent contention in the Tamil Nadu State Assembly elections. The actor-turned-politician and leader of Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam was a contender in the chief ministerial race, contesting two constituencies, namely, Trichy East and Perambur.
The vote counting is scheduled to take place on Monday, May 4, with all eyes on Vijay's TVK. The actor has been making headlines not only for his political stint but also because of the various troubles that his film, Jana Nayagan, landed in in the past four months. Amidst a wave of support the actor received, both politically and on the film front, a young budding music composer has joined the list.
Sai Abhyankkar, who is currently awaiting the release of his next work as a composer, Suriya's Karuppu, recently shared a video featuring Vijay on his Instagram handle. Just a few days ago, the 'Karuppa Kooda Va' song from Karuppu was unveiled. A video edit featuring Vijay from Atlee's Mersal juxtaposed with the song has been making the rounds, and Sai Abhyankkar shared the video on his Instagram story on Saturday. Ever since, fans have speculated if the composer is showing his support to the debut politician ahead of election results.
It is to be noted that Sai Abhyankkar, previously, said that he was a big fan of actor Vijay and regretted not getting the opportunity to compose for one of his films. For the unversed, Jana Nayagan is Vijay's final film before his full-fledged political stint.
Interestingly, the Karuppu audio launch, highlighting Sai Abhyankkar's work in the film, has been in the limelight for the past few days after Trisha, the film's female lead, hinted that she may have not been invited to the event. This comes after her public appearance with Vijay at a reception event, following rumours of their relationship amidst Vijay's ongoing divorce case with Sankgeetha.
On the work front, Sai Abhyankkar has Raghava Lawrence-Nivin Pauly's Benz, Dhanush's D55, Allu Arjun-Atlee's Raaka and Karthi's Marshal, among other films in his pipeline.
