Actor-producer Shivarajkumar was all in praise of Pradeep Ranganathan at a recent event and shared how he has caught all of the movies from his filmography. The noted Kannada film star also went on to note that he is a "fan" of his work.

The Bhairathi Ranagal actor made an appearance at the Ananda Vikatan awards to present an award to Abishan Jeevinth for his directorial debut in Tourist Family which made a massive splash at the box office last year. Interestingly, Shivarajkumar is working with the director for his first full-fledged Tamil film from filmmaker Gowtham Sivaraman, who worked as his co-director in Tourist Family.

Heaping appreciation on Abishan, Shivarajkumar noted how he loved Gowtham's script and said it was "loads of fun" sharing screen with Abishan. "I was so happy after watching Tourist Family. Although he did the direction, his role was beautiful and it touched my heart. I really liked his directorial style," he said, explaining details of Gowtham's upcoming movie where he plays the on-screen father of Abishan.

"He (Abishan) himself is a director, but I loved the way he respects the other director. He is very talented. I want to give what he (Gowtham) wants. I should satisfy him. I play Shanmugam and I feel he should see the character on screen. It's a very unique role. Abishan is also a fantastic actor," he added.

Shivarajkumar then went on to say Ravi Mohan was a close friend and pointed towards Pradeep Ranganathan. "I have seen all his films. In fact, I can say I am your fan. I really like Dhanush sir. Whenever I see you, I feel like I am seeing Dhanush. You are a fantastic director and a good actor also," he said.

Shivarajkumar has a packed slate ahead across industries. He was last seen in Peddi alongside Ram Charan. He is also part of another project directed by M Saravanan and produced by Sathya Jyothi Films. His upcoming lineup further includes Jailer 2, which releases on October 15, Bail, DadGummadi NarsaiahSurvivor – A Superstar Documentary, and A For Anand. In addition, he will be seen in a pivotal role in Hemanth M Rao’s 666 Operation Dream Theatre.

Pradeep Ranganathan was last seen in Dude alongside Mamitha Baiju, which was released last year. He recently launched his own production banner, PR Show, with a project tentatively called PRS01. Mamitha Baiju and Ashwath Marimuthu will play the leads in the movie which also stars Swasika, debut actor Anamika Mahi and Telugu actor Sivaji Sontineni in prominent roles. Interestingly, the film is set to be helmed by not one but six filmmakers.
