On Wednesday, on the occasion of Raghava Lawrence's birthday, veteran actor Rajinikanth sent a personal audio wish to the actor and dance choreographer. The audio of his wish was shared along with a photo by Raghava, who has often established himself as an ardent fan of the veteran star.
Sharing the news, Raghava Lawrence penned a short note that read, "Thanks to Thalaivar for his love! @rajinikanth I’m so happy to share that today, Thalaivar made my birthday so special by sending me the sweetest wish early in the morning. Hearing his voice truly made my day! I’ll forever be grateful for his love and blessings. #GuruveSaranam" In the audio, Rajinikanth is heard saying, "Happy Birthday, master. God bless, God bless. Love you."
Just a few days ago, Raghava Lawrence, a self-proclaimed diehard fan of Rajinikanth, shared pictures with his idol after spending some time together, marking their first meeting in months. Beyond their cinematic journeys, the two share a deep spiritual bond, as both their lives and careers experienced significant turning points following their devotion to the 16th-century saint Raghavendra.
Raghava Lawrence’s admiration for Rajinikanth runs deep, both on and off the screen. The choreographer-turned-filmmaker has often expressed his affection through his performances, emulating Rajinikanth’s signature style and mannerisms in his films.
On the work front, Raghava announced in September that the fourth instalment of his Kanchana franchise will go on floors soon. He also has several projects lined up, including Adhigaaram, Benz, Bullet, Kaala Bhairava, and Hunter.
Rajinikanth, last seen in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Coolie, is set to reunite with his contemporary Kamal Haasan for a new project which will mark their first collaboration in over four decades since Alavuddinum Athbutha Vilakkum(1979). The superstar also awaits the release of Jailer 2, the sequel to his blockbuster Jailer, directed by Nelson.
