A few years back, actor Raghava Lawrence had signed a film titled Adhigaaram, directed by RS Durai Senthilkumar. It was rumoured that the film was shelved due to creative differences between the actor and the director. But soon after that, the makers confirmed that the reports are untrue. The film has script written by Vetrimaaran.
Now, the Jigarthanda Double X actor took to his X handles to share a picture of Vetrimaaran and producer Kathiresan and said that he is "blown away" after listening to the narration from the director and confirmed that he would start shooting the film after the two films he announced earlier - Hunter, directed by Venkat Mohan and Benz, helmed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan.
Raghava Lawrence wrote, "I’m blown away after the narration from Vetri Maaran Sir of adhigaram’s shooting script. I’m extremely happy and excited that I got an opportunity to work on a grandiose film written by Vetri Maran sir. I can't wait to start working on this project after the two projects I announced earlier."
He also added, "My Heartfelt thanks to Vetri Maran sir for giving me this wonderful script, It was worth all the wait and I’d like to thank Producer Kathiresan sir for making this happen. Need all your blessings."
While it is still unsure if director Durai Senthilkumar is part of the project, Adhigaaram will be produced by S Kathiresan of Five Star Creations LLP banner. Other details regarding the cast and crew are yet to be announced by the makers.
Meanwhile, Vetrimaaran, who is busy with Viduthalai 2, is expected to start working on Suriya's Vaadivaasal soon.
