Anirudh's music is one of the key aspects of Rajinikanth-Lokesh Kanagaraj's upcoming film Coolie. With eight tracks, including the viral numbers 'Chikitu', 'Monica' and 'Powerhouse', the composer's work is expected to light up the screens. However, it was one catchy element - 'Alela Polema' from Coolie's trailer that has caught the attention of fans. Speaking at an event, the noted composer revealed the origins of the gibberish lyrics and the real meaning behind it.

During a promotional event with Shruti Haasan and Nagarjuna Akkineni, he revealed that a sudden jolt of "craziness" led to him creating the track. "I go a little crazy inside my studio where I blabber and even shout sometimes. I sung that part of the lyrics and sent it to Lokesh. I was expecting him to ask what it meant. But he said, 'That is my favorite part of the teaser.' That is the kind of vibe we share and it was just a random, gibberish thought," he shared.

Unlike what Anirudh thought, 'Alela Polama' did have a meaning.  "Apparently, I saw something online. In Greek, it means ‘I am ready to fight’, but I didn’t plan it like that. That’s what it means in Greek, I don’t know the language, for me it was just random,” he said.

Starring an ensemble cast consisting of Upendra, Soubin Shahir, Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj, Nagarjuna, and Aamir Khan, among others. Rachita Ram, Reba Monica John, Junior MGR, Kanna Ravi, Monisha Blessy, Kaali Venkat, and Charle appear in supporting roles. Although plot details have been kept under wraps, CBFC's A rating for Rajinikanth's 171st film has promised intense blood-filled action than never before. The film has begun its box office rampage even before release, minting Rs 80 crore globally, and is on track to earn over Rs 100 crore on its opening day, a record feat for the actor and director.

On the technical front, Coolie has action choreography by Anbariv, cinematography by Girish Gangadharan, editing by Philomin Raj, choreography by Sandy, and production design by Sathees Kumar.
