With less than a week for Coolie's release, excitement in the air has been higher than usual. As we had reported earlier, Rajinikanth's 171st film has been certified A after reportedly over three decades, promising intense blood-filled action than ever before. Following the CBFC's rating, a couple of additions and deletions have been made by the makers of the action thriller, the first of which features a special animated title card for Rajinikanth to celebrate his golden jubilee year in cinema.
Further, following the re-recording session that was wrapped up recently, several music tracks for the lead actors have also been added in the film.
Slated to release in theatres on August 14, Coolie boasts an ensemble cast featuring Upendra, Soubin Shahir, Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj, Nagarjuna, and Aamir Khan, among others.
Rachita Ram, Reba Monica John, Junior MGR, Kanna Ravi, Monisha Blessy, Kaali Venkat, and Charle appear in supporting roles. Plot details have been kept under wraps for now.
On the technical front, Coolie has action choreography by Anbariv, cinematography by Girish Gangadharan, editing by Philomin Raj, choreography by Sandy, and production design by Sathees Kumar.
