Actor-politician Udhayanidhi Stalin has heaped praise on Rajinikanth's upcoming film Coolie and stated that he "thoroughly enjoyed" the action thriller directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Ahead of its release on August 14, Udhayanidhi called it a "power-packed mass entertainer" that will "capture the hearts of audiences everywhere."
He also wished his success to the cast and crew of Coolie and congratulated Rajinikanth for completing 50 "glorious years" in the film industry. Replying to his post, Lokesh thanked him and said, "Feeling elated to know that you loved the film sir, thank you so much for this."
Apart from Udhayanidhi Stalin, former CM and current AIADMK head Edappadi K Palaniswami had also wished the actor for his golden jubilee year in cinema.
Starring an ensemble cast consisting of Upendra, Soubin Shahir, Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj, Nagarjuna, and Aamir Khan, among others. Rachita Ram, Reba Monica John, Junior MGR, Kanna Ravi, Monisha Blessy, Kaali Venkat, and Charle appear in supporting roles. Although plot details have been kept under wraps, CBFC's A rating for Rajinikanth's 171st film has promised intense blood-filled action than never before.
Meanwhile, even before the film's release, Coolie has recorded box office shattering pre-sales numbers earning Rs 80 crore globally, and is on track to create history for Tamil cinema. Over 1.8 million tickets have been sold already.

On the technical front, Coolie has music by Anirudh, action choreography by Anbariv, cinematography by Girish Gangadharan, editing by Philomin Raj, choreography by Sandy, and production design by Sathees Kumar.
