On Tuesday, we reported about Rashmika Mandanna's upcoming film Mysaa being set for a November 27 release in theatres. The film stars Rashmika as a Gond woman, a role that necessitated her to undertake major physical and emotional preparation before the shoot. The film's producer, UnFormula Films, announced the release date with a poster featuring Rashmika's character holding a long spear. In the caption, the producer wrote, "Resilient by nature. Fearless by choice. Unbreakable by spirit. Get ready to experience the world of Mysaa with Rashmika Mandanna like never before."
Sharing the Mysaa release date announcement poster on his Instagram Stories space, actor and Rashmika's husband Vijay Deverakonda wrote, "Violent pilla (followed by a love emoticon). May the Gods be with you. You will make all your dearest fans proud again with this one."
Mysaa is set to bring Rashmika Mandanna back to Telugu cinema after The Girlfriend, which hit theatres in November last year. In between, she starred in Cocktail 2, alongside Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. Her upcoming films include Ranabaali, which stars her alongside Vijay Deverakonda. Ranabaali reunites the celebrity couple after they paired together for films such as Geetha Govindam (2018) and Dear Comrade (2019).
Coming back to Mysaa, the upcoming film is backed by producers Ajay Saipureddy, Anil Sayyapureddy, and Veerasai Gopa through the UnFormula Films banner. The poster carries the title in Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada, which suggests that the makers eye a multilingual release. The film is expected to become available for streaming on Netflix, as it has the digital rights.
On the technical front, Mysaa has cinematographer Shreyaas P Krishna, composer Jakes Bejoy, editor Karthika Srinivas, art director GM Sekhar, and stunt director Kecha Khamphakdee.
