Just days after Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna officially tied the knot, their wedding pictures have been making waves everywhere. Adding to the celebrations, the makers of Vijay’s upcoming film Ranabaali unveiled a beautiful wedding song from the film, congratulating the couple in a unique and heartwarming way.
The special video features Vijay and Rashmika’s on-screen wedding sequence, making it even more meaningful in light of their real-life marriage. In this big-budget pan-India project, Vijay plays the titular role of Ranabaali, while Rashmika essays the character of Jayamma.
The wedding song captures the grandeur and rich traditions of weddings from that era. The visuals elegantly showcase age-old customs such as turmeric grinding, henna preparation, a bullock cart procession for the bride and groom, and the auspicious entry of the bride into her in-laws’ home. The sequence beautifully blends cultural authenticity with cinematic richness.
The track is enriched with poetic and soulful lyrics that evoke a festive, traditional mood while celebrating timeless love. Composed by the celebrated duo Ajay–Atul, the music enhances the emotional and cultural depth of the sequence with a majestic and enchanting score.
Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, Ranabaali is being produced under the prestigious Mythri Movie Makers banner by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar, and presented by T-Series Films led by Gulshan Kumar and Bhushan Kumar. The film is slated for a grand worldwide release on September 11.
Set between 1854 and 1878 during British rule, Ranabaali is mounted as a massive pan-India project inspired by real historical events. The recently released title glimpse received a tremendous response, raising expectations further.
Apart from Vijay and Rashmika, the film also features Arnold Vosloo in a prominent role. The technical team includes cinematographer Nirav Shah, writer Pramod Thammineni, production designer Shivam Rao Nagasani, editor Karthika Srinivas R, choreographer Kruti Mahesh, and costume designer Archana Rao, among several other noted technicians.
