Sai Durgha Tej is playing the lead in his upcoming film titled Sambarala Yeti Gattu. The film is one of the prestigious projects in Sai Durgha Tej’s career and is also his highest-budget film to date. Directed by Rohith KP, the film is currently in post-production, and the makers recently announced that it will hit the screens on January 12. It is produced by K Niranjan Reddy and Chaitanya Reddy under their Primeshow Entertainments banner.
Now, the makers have shared another update from the film. Popular Kannada actor Daali Dhananjaya is playing Arjun in the film, and his look has been unveiled. His serious appearance has created curiosity, and according to the makers, he plays one of the key roles in the film. Sambarala Yeti Gattu is a period drama that was shot across several locations, with the team also constructing large sets for the film.
The makers previously revealed that a top Bollywood actor is playing a key role in the film but did not disclose the actor’s identity. According to a source, Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt is said to be playing a key role in the film. Aishwarya Lekshmi is the female lead, while Ananya Nagalla is also part of the cast in another important role.
Senior actors Jagapathi Babu, Sai Kumar and Srikanth are also playing key roles. The team is currently concentrating on the post-production work. The film requires extensive VFX and graphics, and after completing the shoot, the makers are taking their time to finish the technical work. This is also the reason behind locking January 12 as the release date, giving the team enough time to complete the post-production without rushing.
Sai Durgha Tej is set to appear in a powerful role and has also put on considerable weight for the character. The film is a period drama packed with action and emotional elements, according to the makers. The team previously unveiled a glimpse titled Asura Agamana, along with other promotional content, which received a positive response from the audience.
The technical team includes Vetrivel Palaniswami as the cinematographer, while B Ajaneesh Loknath is composing the music. Sai Durgha Tej’s childhood friend Naveen Vijay Krishna is the editor, while Gandhi Nadikudir is the production designer. Peter Hein, Ram-Lakshman, Chethan and Prudhvi are the action choreographers.
Sambarala Yeti Gattu is scheduled to hit the screens on January 12 during the Sankranthi festival.
