Joining the bandwagon of voicing out angst against the Jana Nayagan leak, Telugu star Vijay Devarakonda said the incident made him enraged. Empathising with the makers, who have experienced the distressing incident, the Ranabaali star said he has personally experienced pain and loss in the aftermath of a similar incident early in his career.

"You feel like a target, you feel a loss of hope, it’s not just about me, there are co-actors, directors, producers, and so many who have all their dreams on the line," he wrote, underlining the need to sort the issue as soon as possible.

"This current issue needs to get sorted Asap and the people behind it identified, and if it doesn’t it reflects a systemic failure. It keeps reminding us how insensitive people can be, and the extent some will go to cause harm without a second thought," he added, extending his "unconditional support" to the Jana Nayagan team.
