The Konidela family has a new reason to celebrate—actor Varun Tej and his wife, Lavanya Tripathi, have welcomed their first child, a baby boy. The couple shared the happy news on social media with a black-and-white photo from the hospital, where Lavanya is seen cradling their newborn as Varun plants a kiss on her forehead. Captioning the image, they wrote, “Our little man. 10.09.2025.”
Warm wishes quickly poured in from family members. Ram Charan expressed his joy on X (formerly Twitter), writing, “Dear Varun and Lavanya, Huge congrats on your precious little one. I’m so happy seeing you both start this amazing chapter. May your baby bring you both and our family immense joy and happiness. God bless you 3.”
Varun’s uncle, Megastar Chiranjeevi, also penned an emotional note to mark the occasion: “Welcome to the world, little one! A hearty welcome to the newborn baby boy in the Konidela family. The baby marks the next chapter in the lives of Varun and Lavanya, both well-known names in Telugu cinema. Varun, son of actor-producer Naga Babu and nephew to Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan, has delivered hits such as Fidaa, Tholi Prema, and Gaddalakonda Ganesh. Lavanya, on the other hand, rose to fame with Andala Rakshasi and Bhale Bhale Magadivoy.
Professionally, both actors are keeping busy even as they step into parenthood. Varun recently wrapped shooting for VT15, a Telugu-Korean horror-comedy, while Lavanya is gearing up for her next release, Sathi Leelavathi.
