The teaser of Sathi Leelavathi, starring Lavanya Tripathi Konidela and Dev Mohan, was unveiled on Tuesday, offering a glimpse into a marital comedy that blends domestic conflicts with humour. Directed by Tatineni Satya under the Durga Devi Pictures banner and presented by Anandi Art Creations, the film explores the lighter side of married life, featuring an ensemble of popular comic actors.
The teaser opens with Lavanya and Dev Mohan’s characters as a seemingly happy married couple. However, the tone quickly shifts as glimpses of quarrels unfold, including a scene where Lavanya’s character, Leela, ties up her husband in a playful yet chaotic sequence. The teaser also highlights supporting actors such as V.K. Naresh, VTV Ganesh, Sapthagiri, Motta Rajendran, and Jaffer Sadiq, hinting at their humorous involvement in the unfolding domestic drama.
Speaking about the teaser, director Tatineni Satya noted that “Sathi Leelavathi portrays the relationship between husband and wife not just emotionally but also in a humorous way,” suggesting a narrative built on relatable conflicts presented through light-hearted storytelling.
Sathi Leelavathi’s technical team includes music composer Mickey J Meyer, cinematographer Binendra Menon, editor Sathish Suriya, and art director Kosanam Vittal. Dialogues are penned by Uday Pottipadu.
Lavanya Tripathi, who was recently seen in the series Miss Perfect, takes on a comedic role in this outing, while Dev Mohan, known for Shaakuntalam, plays her on-screen husband. With its mix of situational comedy and domestic themes, Sathi Leelavathi is billed as a family-friendly entertainer. The release date for the film is yet to be out.
