The pre-release event for Ravi Teja's Mass Jathara happened in Hyderabad on Tuesday, and actor Suriya graced the event as a special guest. Taking to the stage to speak about Ravi Teja and the film, Suriya heaped praise on the actor's filmography and performance style.
He said, "Here in Tamil, whether it’s Idiot or Kick, your films have always been loved. Of course, Vikramarkudu was a major turning point for my brother Karthi when he starred in its Tamil remake, Siruthai. As a brother, I’m truly grateful to you for that film. Even in Tamil Nadu, your movies are watched without subtitles or dubbing. That’s the kind of power you command on screen. You’ve managed to entertain Tamil audiences just as much, and very few actors possess that talent. I believe Rajini Sir has unmatched comic timing, Bachchan Sir has incomparable swag, and you, being a huge fan of Bachchan sir, have both. I hope you continue entertaining us for many more decades. I’d even say October 31st will be celebrated as Ravi Te-Jathara, your very own festival."
Mass Jathara is directed by Bhanu Bogavarapu and also stars Sreeleela as the female lead and Naveen Chandra as the antagonist. While carrying all the conventional tropes of a Ravi Teja entertainer, Mass Jathara promises to be a tad more stylistic and violent in its approach. Veteran actors like Rajendra Prasad, Ajay Ghosh, VTV Ganesh and Naresh VK are part of the ensemble cast as well.
Mass Jathara is produced byNaga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. Bheems Ceciroleo has composed music for the action-entertainer, while Nandu Savirgama has penned dialogues for the film. Navin Nooli handles editing, while Vidhu Ayyanna is the cinematographer. The film has premiere shows scheduled for October 31, while the film will release worldwide on November 1.
