Ram Pothineni and Bhagyashri Borse are playing the lead roles in the upcoming film Andhra King Taluka. Mahesh Babu P is directing the film, while Mythri Movie Makers is producing it. The film’s trailer launch event was held in Kurnool on Tuesday night, and the entire cast and crew were present. On the occasion, Ram Pothineni spoke about the film and why it is so personal to him.
“When Mahesh narrated the story to me, I told him that this is one of the most personal films of my career,” Ram said. He added that many people worked very hard behind the film. “I got a great team for this project,” he noted.
Speaking about his role, he shared that he plays a devoted fan of a superstar. “Upendra garu is playing a superstar, and I am playing his fan in the film,” said Ram.
He also praised his co-star Bhagyashri Borse for her talent and screen presence. “After many years, the Telugu film industry has found an actress who can showcase glamour while also delivering strong performances. You have a long way to go, Bhagyashri,” Ram said, adding that she is a rare combination of both. Bhagyashri recently made her Telugu debut with the Dulquer Salmaan starrer Kaantha, for which she earned a lot of praise from critics and audience.
Ram then welcomed music directors Vivek–Mervin to the Telugu film industry. “They have delivered blockbuster hits in Tamil, and now they are entering Telugu cinema with this film. We must welcome them warmly,” Ram said.
