NTR’s great-grandson’s debut film officially launched with a muhurtham shoot

We had earlier reported about the debut vehicle for Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, the great grandson of legendary NTR. YVS Chowdary has been planning to make the film since a long time. On Monday, the project was officially launched with a muhurtham shoot.

The film, untitled as yet, will be produced by Yelamanchili Geetha under New Talent Roars @ banner. It also marks the debut for Veenah Rao. 

The launch ceremony was held at NTR Ghat. On the occasion, YVS Chowdary stated, “NTR garu's ghat is like a shrine for me. It is a place that gives strength to NTR garu's fans, and I am very happy that the launch of this film is being held at this place.”

Talking about Taraka Rama Rao, Chowdary added, “He worked very hard for the movie. I feel lucky to direct this movie. Taraka Rama Rao has the support of all his family members. I have made a good story with all my efforts in the background of Telugu literature, Telugu tradition and Hindu culture.” Taraka Rama Rao said at the event, “I believe that the blessings of my great-grandfather, my grandfather Harikrishna garu and my father Janaki Ram garu will always be there. I believe that the love and admiration of the audience will lead me forward.”

Among others in attendance were members of the NTR family like Garapati Lokeshwari, Daggubati Purandeswari, Nara Bhuvaneswari, Nandamuri Suhasini, Nandamuri Mohan Rupa, Srimanthini, Nandamuri Vasundhara Balakrishna, Daggubati Nivedita, Nandamuri Deepika, Nandamuri Jayashree, Nandamuri Lakshmi Hari Krishna, Kantamenny Dikshitha, and Nandamuri Mohan Krishna. While Nara Bhuvaneswari gave the muhurat clap, Daggubati Purandeswari switched on the camera. 

MM Keeravani and Chandrabose have been signed to compose music and write lyrics for the film, respectively. Sai Madhav Burra is onboard too, as the dialogue writer. YVS Chowdary himself has penned the story and screenplay, meanwhile. 

YVS Chowdary has previously directed popular films like Seetharama Raju, Devadasu and Seetayya.
