Director AM Jyothi Krisna has revealed that Bobby Deol’s character in Hari Hara Veera Mallu was completely redesigned after the team watched the actor’s performance in Animal. Deol plays the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb in the upcoming historical action drama headlined by Pawan Kalyan.

In a recent statement, the director shared, “Bobby Deol gaaru’s performance in Animal was spellbinding. His ability to convey emotion through expressions alone, despite the character’s limited dialogue, truly stood out. I decided to change the arc of his character in our film too and give it a complete makeover.”

Jyothi Krisna added that he revised the character to better suit Deol’s screen presence and to offer a performance that aligns with the actor’s current stature. “When I narrated the revised script, Bobby Deol gaaru was very excited. He’s an actor who likes to explore different shades and challenge himself. In our film, he looks more intense, and his performance relies heavily on his expressions and presence,” the director said.

The character’s backstory, motivations, and appearance were reworked to give Aurangzeb more narrative depth in Hari Hara Veera Mallu. These changes are intended to strengthen the emotional core of the story and elevate the antagonist's role.
