
Dhanush's sophomore Telugu film, Kuberaa, helmed by Sekhar Kammula, opened in theatres on June 20. Also starring Nagarjuna, Rashmika Mandanna and Jim Sarbh in prominent roles, the film is a Tamil-Telugu bilingual, shot simultaneously in both languages.
Produced by Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Amigos Creations, the film has a screenplay penned by Sekhar along with Chaithanya Pingali. Dhanush's 51st film, it was tentatively titled D51 early on. Following the casting the Nagarjuna, the working title was DNS, referring to Dhanush, Nagarjuna and Sekhar.
The technical crew of Kuberaa features music composed by Devi Sri Prasad, cinematography by Niketh Bommireddy, editing by Karthika Srinivas and production design by Thota Tharani.
