

We had recently reported about Prabhas visiting Japan for a special screening of Baahubali: The Epic. The actor was accompanied by Baahubali producer Shobu Yarlagadda. However, the news of earthquake in Japan caused distress among Prabhas fans. On Tuesday morning, filmmaker Maruthi confirmed that Prabhas is safe.
Taking to his X page, Maruthi, who is the director of Prabhas’ upcoming film The Raja Saab, replied to one of the fans who was seeking clarity about Prabhas’ safety, “Spoke to Darling he is not in Tokyo and doing safe no worries.” Prabhas will return to India on Wednesday, to resume shooting for Fauzi.
Earlier on Tuesday morning, a strong 7.5 magnitude earthquake hit off the Aomori coast in the northeast late on Monday. More than 30 people were injured in the aftermath, although no casualties were reported.
