Nandu who has a handful of releases in the coming few months, will be seen playing a twisted protagonist in the upcoming film Psych Siddhartha. The official trailer of the film was unveiled on Tuesday.
There is a lot happening in the new trailer of the film. Unlike the teaser released nearly 4 weeks ago, which only established the protagonist and his general disposition, the trailer introduces us to other characters and the various situations that led to them crossing paths with the film’s ‘loser’ protagonist. There is an extra-marital affair involved, a concerned neighbour who might or might not be in love with him, and plenty of self-pity and alcoholism on Siddhartha’s part (Nandu).
By the looks of it, Psych Siddhartha promises to be a no-holds-barred comedy, pushing the comic boundaries for Telugu cinema. Varun Reddy has directed the film, while Nandu has been credited for additional screenplay. Nandu is also one of the producers for the film, in association with Shyam Sunder Reddy Thudi. Spirit Media is also onboard as the presenter.
The supporting case of Psych Siddhartha includes Yaamini Bhaskar, Narasimha S, Sukesh, Wadekar Narsing, Bobby Ratakonda, Sakshi Atree Chaturvedi, Mounika, Pradyumna Billuri, and Priyanka Rebekah Srinivas. Priyanka is also onboard as the costume designer.
The music is composed by Smaran Sai and Moiedi Ebenezer Paul. Other key technicians include editor Prateek Nuti, and cinematographer K Prakash Reddy.
Nandu’s other upcoming films include Dhandoraa, which is due to release on December 25, and Ugly Story, where Nandu will be seen sharing screen with Avika Gor.
