Teja Sajja's got something to say to those calling him a pan-Indian hero. At the Mirai trailer launch in Hyderabad, the actor didn't mince words about his approach to cinema.
"There is no space for this (a famous meme dialogue) but people are saying, I am a pan-Indian hero. No, I am not. I work mainly for Telugu audiences. If audiences from other languages appreciate our film, nothing better. But my work is primarily to cater to you all," Teja declared, connecting with his home crowd.
The actor, who shot to nationwide fame with HanuMan added, "Mee mundhey putta, mee mundhey periga, ikkade unta (I was born here, brought up here in front of you and I will stay here.)"
Speaking about Mirai – Super Yodha, Sajja revealed, "I committed to Mirai six months before HanuMan. I can confidently say that I gave 110% to this film. I never lazed out or took it for granted even for a second. I am so happy to have my team here."
The actor promised fans plenty of thrills saying, "Like how young audiences talk about elevation scenes. This film has goosebumps guaranteed. Gowra Hari did complete duty to the film."
Mirai's trailer pits Sajja's Yodha against Manchu Manoj's menacing Black Sword in a mythological action spectacle. Directed by Karthik Ghattamaneni, the film also stars Jagapathi Babu, Ritika Nayak, Jayaram, and Shriya Saran. Mirai hits cinemas worldwide on September 12.
