Even as the speculations continue to arrive about the release plans for Teja Sajja’s upcoming adventure-drama Mirai, currently scheduled for September 5 release, People Media Factory has already made plans for another collaboration with the Hanu-Man actor. The production banner shared an update on the same on Saturday.
Taking to their X page, People Media Factory shared a concept poster for their film, tentatively billed as TejaSajjaPMF2, also announcing that they plan to release their next collaboration on Sankranthi 2027.
The concept poster gives the promise of a sci-fi-driven entertainer, with video games and virtual reality as major themes in the story, what with the visual element of video game controller embedded in the iron palm. “Stronger than before, wilder than ever. Superhero Teja Sajja reunited with People Media Factory for a pulse pounding saga,” read the announcement post caption. The poser also carries the tagline, “From Rayalseema to the end of the world,” which further adds intrigue about the film’s genre and storyline.
It remains to be seen whether TejaSajjaPMF2 is an extension of the Mirai universe or built as a separate, standalone film project.
Meanwhile, we had reported earlier this month that Karan Johar’s Dharma productions had come onboard for Mirai, as their Hindi belt distributor. Directed by Karthik Gattamneni, Mirai also stars Ritika Nayak, Shriya Saran, and Manchu Manoj in lead cast. Gowra Hari has composed music for the film. An official announcement about a new release date for Mirai is expected within 2-3 days.
Earlier today, the Mirai team also released a new BTS making video, sharing glimpses of the gruelling action rehearsals and physical preparation by Teja Sajja and the action team to bring the protagonist to life.
