On Wednesday, Mythri Movie Makers announced that its upcoming film, starring Nasser, Regena Cassandrra, and Ramesh Thilak, has wrapped principal photography. The recently announced film is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers in association with Lokesh Kanagaraj of G Squad. It is directed by Vishal Venkat based on a story by Hariharan Raju, with dialogues by Ashameera Aiyappan. The film has Pradeep Boopathi serving as a co-producer.
The makers are set to announce the film's title in the near future. Besides Nasser, Regena Cassandrra, and Ramesh Thilak, the upcoming film stars Sreeja Ravi as well.
On the technical front, the film has music by Hesham Abdul Wahab, cinematography by Selvakumar SK, editing by Prasanna GK, and art direction by Manoj Kumar K.
For the uninitiated, Vishal Venkat's directorial credits include titles such as Sila Nerangalil Sila Manidhargal (2022), Oru Kodai Murder Mystery (2023), and Bomb (2025). The yet-to-be-titled upcoming film reunites the director with Nasser following collaborations on Sila Nerangalil Sila Manidhargal and Bomb.
The makers are yet to disclose any other detail about the film, including information about its additional cast members and storyline.
Mythri Movie Makers and Lokesh Kanagaraj are set to collaborate for another film, directed by Lokesh and starring Allu Arjun. Tentatively titled AA23, it is billed as a big-scale pan-India project. Expected to mark Allu Arjun's 23rd film, Lokesh's seventh directorial venture and the filmmaker's Telugu debut, the upcoming film has Anirudh as its composer. It is set to bring the filmmaker back together with the music director following collaborations on films such as Master, Vikram, Leo and Coolie.
Lokesh Kanagaraj's upcoming production ventures also include Benz, written and directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan as well as starring Ragava Lawrence, Nivin Pauly, Ravi Mohan, and Samyuktha in important roles.
