

Earlier this Saturday, we reported about comedian Muthukalai seeking the help of Chief Minister Vijay for his spouse, Malathi, who recently experienced a cerebral hemorrhage. Muthukalai appeared on video and said that, following her surgery, Malathi has complications in lungs and elsewhere, causing breathing difficulty. He requested the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu's recommendation for advanced medical treatment for his spouse.
According to the latest reports, after Muthukalai made the request, Vijay had minister Aadhav Arjuna to speak to the comedian and his family by phone and sent Minister Raj Mohan to the hospital to inquire about Malathi's health and instructed that she be given advanced medical treatment.
Also popular for his Karate skills, the comedian forayed into cinema with a role in 1998's Ponmanam. He is most popular for his roles in the comedic portions of films featuring Vivek and Vadivelu. When it comes to Vijay, he collaborated with Stunt Siva on 1997's Kadhalukku Mariyadhai, directed by Fazil and starring the superstar-turned-CM with Shalini.
