Rumours have been aplenty on social media about their alleged relationship in the wake of Vijay's wife Sankgeetha filing for divorce earlier this year. However, the duo have constantly refrained from commenting about it.
Their relationship has now has witnessed a twist as Trisha seems to have unfollowed CM Vijay recently. This comes a day after Trisha skipped posting wishes for her co-star on his 52nd birthday. For the last few years, Trisha had posted unseen pictures with Vijay, along with heartfelt posts for his birthday, but her absence from social media on Monday stirred debates and discussions on the internet. Many fans had also noticed that she unfollowed him on her Instagram handle, which led to further speculations about a possible fallout between the duo.
On the work front, Trisha was last seen alongside Suriya in Karuppu, directed by RJ Balaji. The film was a massive commercial success at the box office and had received positive reviews. The cast also featured the director himself as the antagonist while Indrans, Anagha Maya Ravi, Natty Subramaniam, Sshivada, Swasika, and Supreeth Reddy played supporting roles.
Meanwhile Vijay, who has now entered politics full-time, is awaiting his long-delayed Jana Nayagan, directed by H Vinoth. The actioner was mired by controversies since December last year, and is yet to obtain a censor certificate from the CBFC.
