A complaint received by the police control room has led to an inquiry involving actor Ravi Mohan’s residence after allegations surfaced that two domestic workers and a minor boy employed there were confined inside the house, as per reports.

According to initial information, the complaint claimed that the three individuals had been prevented from leaving the premises. However, sources said the actor’s side alleged that the workers had committed theft, following which they were being questioned.

Police officials reportedly intervened and advised those involved that no individual can be detained or questioned privately in an unlawful manner. Authorities have since begun an inquiry into the matter to ascertain the circumstances that led to the complaint and verify the claims made by both sides.

Meanwhile, a complaint has been lodged by Ravi Mohan at the Neelangarai Police Station regarding the theft that took place at his residence. A CSR (Community Service Register) copy has been issued, and the police have assured that the necessary action will be taken promptly.

The news comes even as Ravi Mohan is still in a legal battle with his estranged wife, Aarti Ravi, who is seeking a separation. With court proceedings ongoing since last year, the duo have been involved in a war of words which escalated after his public appearances with singer Keneeshaa made headlines.

On the work front, Ravi Mohan is currently busy shooting for his directorial debut, An Ordinary Man. He recently joined the sets of Benz, which is a part of the Lokesh Cinematic Universe. He will be seen sharing the screen with Raghava Lawrence and Nivin Pauly in the Bakkiyaraj Kannan directorial.

Having recently wrapped shooting for Karathey Babu, helmed by Ganesh K Babu, the actor joined hands with debut director GND Shyam Kumar for his next. He also has multiple other projects in the pipeline, including the long-delayed Genie and Karthik Yogi's film, previously titled Bro Code.
