Recently, actor Ravi Mohan had an emotional outburst in a press conference, where he addressed his troubled marital life with wife Aarti Ravi and his relationship with singer Keneeshaa. The actor said that he has been deprived of the right to meet his children, that he feels victimised for the break-up with Aarti, and that he had a joint bank account during his marital life and faced questions for even small withdrawals from it. The actor also revealed that Keneeshaa left him because of the intense public scrutiny over his marital life.
Amidst his marital troubles, Ravi Mohan has worn the sacred prayer beads and began fasting, as part of the sacred vow, for Sabarimala pilgrimage. The news about it comes not long after the actor said that his films would not release until the finalisation of his divorce. The actor also visited the Lord Ayyappa temple in Kerala in 2025, along with Karthi.
Ravi's claims about his marital life invited support and criticism. Many men's rights advocates supported the actor, claiming that he has been emotionally abused, and they called out the online vitriol against him amidst his marital life troubles. On the other hand, some criticise the actor for combining feminism with the idea of women exerting control over monetary affairs and asserting their civil rights. They also called out Ravi for airing unsubstantiated allegations publicly.
On the work front, the actor was last seen in Parasakthi, directed by Sudha Kongara and co-starring Sivakarthikeyan. He has multiple films at various stages of production, including a project previously titled Bro Code, his directorial debut An Ordinary Man with Yogi Babu, Karathey Babu, and the long-delayed Genie.
