YouTuber-turned-filmmaker VJ Siddhu's maiden feature Dayangaram has been generating anticipation ever since its announcement last year. While works for the film have been going on in full swing, there are very little details known about the film's plot and genre. However, small updates continue to surface on the project from time to time, sparking excitement among fans.
In their latest YouTube video on their channel, VJ Siddhu and Harshath Khan were seen interacting with actor-composer-producer Vijay Antony for his upcoming film Nooru Saami. During the conversation, Siddhu had asked Vijay Antony to sing a song in their film Dayangaram. "Yes, definitely. We spoke last year about this right? We'll make it happen," he said, to which Siddhu replied, "I thought you would have forgotten about it." Vijay Antony said, "How will I forget that?". Once confirmed, the team announced on air that he would sing a song for their project and expressed their gratitude to him for remembering their request that they had conveyed to him a year earlier, and fulfilling it.
Apart from VJ Siddhu, Natty Subramaniam also plays a lead role in Dayangaram. Recently, VJ Siddhu confirmed a cameo appearance by actor-politician Namitha. Ishari Ganesh is producing the film under the Vels Film International banner. Previously, the producer revealed that the film will be based on VJ Siddhu's life story.
On the technical team, Dayangaram has music by Siddhu Kumar, cinematography by Dinesh Krishnan and editing by Pradeep E Ragav. The film's first schedule was wrapped in November 2025.
Meanwhile, Nooru Saami, which marks a return for Vijay Antony and director Sasi after their hit outing Pichaikkaran (2016), hits theatres on June 19. It stars Swasika as the female lead and features Ajay Dhishan, Lijomol Jose, Karunas, Sakthi, Kavya Anil, Balaji Sakthivel, Aruldoss, Munishkanth and others in key roles.
