Actor-director Gautham Vasudev Menon took to social media to praise director Sasi's Nooru Saami. Starring Vijay Antony and Swasika in the lead, the upcoming film is set to release on June 19.
Taking to his X handle Gautham wrote, "Sasi, there’s a lot of soul and some poetry in your film Nooru Saami with an arresting and can’t take your eyes off Swasika and a Vijay Antony who makes you watch him keenly in a role that brings a smile and reminded me of a character in a film called Mouna Ragam. Well done Sasi, we are all rooting for you!"
Nooru Saami reunites director Sasi and Vijay Antony after Pichaikkaran (2016). The cast of the upcoming film also includes Ajay Dhishan, Lijomol Jose, Karunas, Sakthi, Kavya Anil, Balaji Sakthivel, Aruldoss, Munishkanth, Padini Kumar, Jenson Dhivakar, Bucks, Vinodhini, Thamarai, Kodangi Vadivelu, Muthualagi, Saratha, Sabitha Roy, Abinaya, Moorthy, and Subramania Siva.
The crew of the film includes music composer Balaji Sriram, director of photography SB Darshan Kirlosh, editor Harish Yuvaraj, art director V Sasi Kumar, and stunt choregrapher Ramkumar.
Meera Vijay Antony is producing the film on behalf of the Vijay Antony Film Corporation banner.
