With Vijay Antony's Nooru Saami release around the corner, many celebrities who had watched the drama, heaped praised on director Sasi, the actor and female lead Swasika for their performances and choosing a strong story. The latest among them was noted filmmaker Sudha Kongara, who recently made Parasakthi with Sivakarthikeyan.

Upon watching Nooru Saami, Sudha turned emotional and cried on stage, expressing how the story and performances moved her. "My tears are still flowing. This is a very important film. There was one particular scene where I simply couldn't hold back my tears," she said. Elaborating on the moment, she added, "It isn't about marriage or remarriage. It's about something much deeper — whether a woman gets to exist on her own terms or not. That's how emotionally intense the situation is."

She went on to praise Swasika's performance, saying, "What an extraordinary actress Swasika is. The direction is remarkable, and the storytelling is exceptional. What impressed me most was how it delivers all of this within the framework of a mainstream commercial film."

She also lauded Vijay Antony's performance, noting that she had never seen this side of the actor before. "The most beautiful aspect of the film is its love story. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Watching it felt like experiencing Muthal Mariyathai all over again," she added.
