Actor-dancer Simran fulfilled the long-cherished dream of Nisha, a 10-year-old differently-abled girl by gifting her a new bicycle and sharing a memorable dance performance during an emotional meeting. The gesture came after Simran learned about the young girl's inspiring journey through social media.
Nisha, who was born with one hand, gained widespread admiration online for her determination and passion for dance. Despite her physical disability, she has consistently showcased her talent by recreating dance performances, particularly those of the veteran actor, whom she has admired since childhood.
Social worker Mohamed Ashik from Chennai, who has been sharing Nisha's dance videos on social media to highlight her talent and perseverance, brought her story to Simran's attention. He also informed the actor that Nisha's long-standing wish was to own a bicycle to commute to school every day.
Touched by Nisha's story, Simran invited her for a personal meeting. During the interaction, Nisha realised another dream by performing in front of the actor for the hit song 'Ada All Thotta Boopathi' from Vijay's Youth (2002). Simran then joined her for a dance. Later, the actor surprised Nisha with a brand-new bicycle, fulfilling her long-awaited wish.
Beyond the gift, Simran encouraged Nisha to remain focused on her education while continuing to pursue her passion for dance. She stressed the importance of balancing academics with personal aspirations and urged the young girl to keep chasing her dreams with confidence and determination.
The emotional meeting has since resonated with many, with social media users praising the actor for her compassion and generosity.
On the work front, Simran is currently shooting for Rajinikanth's Dharman (Thalaivar 173), directed by Ashwath Marimuthu. The film, which sees Rajinikanth playing the role of a doctor, is backed by Kamal Haasan under the RKFI banner. She also has a film titled Teacher, directed by Balu Sharma.
