Parasakthi, set to release in three days, is gearing up for a grand theatrical arrival on January 10. Directed by Sudha Kongara, the film stars Sivakarthikeyan, Sreeleela, Ravi Mohan and Atharvaa in pivotal roles.

Speaking about the film in a press release, Atharvaa shared his gratitude towards producer Aakash Baskaran, who has transitioned from director to producer. “I had previously known Aakash Bhaskaran as a director; he has now transitioned to production. It was Aakash who first narrated the concept of Parasakthi and my characterisation therein. I am profoundly grateful to him for entrusting this project to me,” he said.

The actor also had high praise for his co-star Sreeleela, calling her energy infectious on set. “Sreeleela exudes such vitality that her bubbly presence invigorates the entire set. She shall be hailed as an unparalleled performer through this film, one of the finest dancers in the Indian industry,” Atharvaa noted.

Atharvaa also reflected fondly on working with director Sudha Kongara, with whom he has shared a long association. “I have known Sudha ma’am for many years. Upon meeting her for this film, she insisted I forgo the title of ‘ma’am’, for she is the creator of cult masterpieces, of which she remains blissfully unaware,” he remarked.

The technical crew includes GV Prakash Kumar as music composer, Ravi K Chandran as cinematographer and Sathish Surya as editor.

Produced by Aakash Baskaran under the Dawn Pictures banner, the film has Dev Ramnath as creative producer, with MP Senthel and Rhea Kongara serving as executive producers. Red Giant Movies is distributing the film.

Upon release on January 10, Parasakthi will face box office competition from Vijay’s final film, Jana Nayagan, which is slated to hit theatres a day earlier, on January 9.
