At the ongoing Parasakthi audio launch event, actor Sreeleela talked about her experience working with Sivakarthikeyan on the film. The actor, who makes her Tamil debut with the Sudha Kongara directorial, said that Sivakarthikeyan is the film's greatest strength. Sreeleela reminisced about how her Telugu films' co-stars would talk highly about Sivakarthikeyan's 'sweet' personality. "They would tell me that he is similar to 'payasam' (a popular South Indian dessert)," the actor mentioned about what her former co-stars said about the Parasakthi lead actor.

Sreeleela substantiated her point by reminiscing about an incident where her Parasakthi co-star showed immense patience and kindness while taking photographs with his fans. The actor said that she was stuck after her shoot on the film's set in Pollachi, as with a temporary halt in traffic, due to the large number of Sivakarthikeyan fans who were there to take photographs with him. The actor said that he did not get tired of posing for pictures with his fans.

At the Parasakthi audio launch, Sreeleela also made a quirky reference to the film's Pongal release and the cultural significance of having 'payasam' on the festival. "This Pongal, everyone please have payasam and come to the theatre to watch our film," she said.

At the audio launch, Sreeleela also made generous remarks about the film's composer GV Prakash, for whom Parasakthi marks his 100th film. Congratulating the music director on the milestone, Sreeleela said that she admires the former's melodious music, citing the film's songs such as 'Ratnamala' and 'Adi Alaye' as examples of the composer's skill.

Produced by Dawn Pictures of Aakash Baskaran, Parasakthi also stars Ravi Mohan, and Atharvaa, among others. The film is slated for a January 10 release in theatres, which sets up a direct box office clash with Vijay-H Vinoth's much-anticipated film Jana Nayagan.
