

Atlee took to X on Thursday to pen his review of Radikaa Sarathkumar's upcoming headliner, Thaai Kizhavi. Helmed by Sivakumar Murugesan, the film is backed by Sivakarthikeyan's SK Productions.
He wrote, "In a world that feels heavy at times, this film felt like hope. Emotional, meaningful, and rooted in the best of human values. Please do experience it in theatres. Congratulations to the entire team for the blockbuster!" (sic)
Early reviews have been extremely positive for the comedy drama, with actors and industry professionals heaping praise on the actor and producer Sivakarthikeyan for presenting the film.
On Wednesday, members from the press and media fraternity, along with noted celebrities, attended the premiere show of Thaai Kizhavi. Present at the show were Suriya and Jyotika, Shalini Ajith Kumar, Sarath Kumar, Aishwarya Rajesh, Nalini, Nirosha, Atharvaa, Prabhu, Radha and Meena, among others.
The film is also produced by Sudhan Sundaram of Passion Studios. The film has already been generating much buzz, thanks mainly to Radikaa's transformation for her elderly woman character in it. In the promotional posters and videos for the film, the actor is virtually unrecognisable.
Thaai Kizhavi also stars Raichal Rabecca, Bala Saravanan, Munishkanth, Muthukumar, Aruldoss, Singampuli, Ilavarasu and George Mariyan. On the technical front, the film has cinematography by Vivek Vijayakumar, editing by San Lokesh and music by Nivas K Prasanna. The film is gearing up for release on February 27.
On the work front, Atlee last helmed Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan. He is currently busy with the magnum opus, AA22xA6, starring Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone in lead roles. Shot in Telugu and English, the film will reportedly be released in two parts. As per speculations, Allu Arjun is said to play four roles in the film, while Sai Abhyankkar is set to compose music for the film. On the personal front, the director is expecting his second child with wife, Priya Atlee.
