Bison social media reviews: This festive season is the first time in many decades that three young actors have been at the forefront of box office collections. Pradeep Ranganathan's Dude, Harish Kalyan's Diesel and Dhruv Vikram-Mari Selvaraj's Bison hit theatres on Friday, all generating anticipation for their unique storyline and screenplay. Bison has been sparking all the buzz as Dhruv Vikram headlines a film in many years and it is his first collaboration with director Mari Selvaraj, who is known for his hard-hitting, gritty and emotional stories.
According to many users, Bison has been hailed as Mari Selvaraj's "best film to date" with Dhruv Vikram's performance garnering immense praise for portraying Arjuna award winning Kabaddi player Manathi Ganesan with sincerity. A few also expressed their happiness on the actor getting the recognition he deserves. On the other hand, Bison has also been criticised for its heavy screenplay and long runtime, along with preachy dialogues.
Our CE review of the film by Avinash Ramachandran read, "Bison is a terrific exploration of the aftermath of violence and its unsettling consequences in the minds of the young and easily influenced."
Bison also stars Anupama Parameshwaran, Lal, Ameer, Pasupathi, Rajisha Vijayan, Kalaiyarasan, Hari Krishnan Anbudurai, Azhagam Perumal, and Madhan Dhakshinamoorthy. It is produced by Pa Ranjith and Aditi Anand under their Neelam Studios banner, alongside Sameer Nair and Deepak Segal of Applause Entertainment.
The technical crew of the film includes Ezhil Arasu K as the cinematographer, Sakthi Thiru as the editor, Kumar Gangappan as the art director, and Dhilip Subbarayan as the action choreographer.
