3BHK director Sri Ganesh is grateful to actor Karthi for voicing the narrator in the Siddarth-Sarath Kumar film. On Sunday, two days after the film's release, the filmmaker took to his official X handle to pen a personal thank-you note to actor Karthi.
He wrote, "Thank you so much, Karthi sir, for being the voice and narrator of our film, 3BHK. Your voice is bringing so much energy and joy to our film, and we want to thank you at this happy moment. I was unwell, you were at the studio, talked to me in a video call, & did the dubbing for our film. It was extremely kind of you; I will always remember it, sir."
Also starring Devayani, Meetha Raghunath, Chaithra Achar, and Vivek Prasanna, among others, 3BHK tells the story of a middle-class family and their struggles with building a house they wish to call their own. The film has been receiving largely positive reviews from critics and has also been performing well at theatres. As per the latest reports, the film has earned around Rs 2.89 crores.
The film is backed by Arun Viswa, under his Shanthi Talkies banner. The production house previously backed Sivakarthikeyan’s Maaveeran. The technical crew of 3BHK comprises cinematographers Dinesh B Krishnan and Jithin Stanislaus, editor Ganesh Siva, and music composer Amrit Ramnath.
Sri Ganesh has previously helmed the critically acclaimed 8 Thottakkal starring Vetri and MS Bhaskar. He then helmed his sophomore film, Kuruthi Aattam, with Atharvaa in the lead role. 3BHK marks the filmmaker's third outing.
Last seen in Meiyazhagan, Karthi is currently awaiting the release of Vaa Vaathiyar, helmed by Nalan Kumarasamy. He also has Sardar 2, directed by PS Mithran, in the pipeline. The actor was also seen in cameo roles in Suriya's Kanguva and Nani's HIT: The Third Case.
