
Actor Soori took to his official X handle to shower praise on the two new Tamil releases this week, Paranthu Po and 3BHK. Calling them “two amazing movies that will touch the heart of every family,” Soori highlighted how both films delve into emotional journeys that reflect real-life experiences with honesty and warmth.
On Paranthu Po, Soori wrote in Tamil: "It vividly portrays the deep bond between father and son and a moving journey of understanding emotions." The film, directed by Ram, has been widely appreciated for its sensitive storytelling and unique tone. Soori was all praise for Ram’s signature touch. About 3BHK, directed by Sri Ganesh, Soori said, "It beautifully portrays the emotional journey of a family to reach their dream home." Sri Ganesh's 3BHK stars Siddharth, Sarath Kumar, Devayani, Meetha Raghunath, and Chaithra Achar in lead roles. The film, backed by Arun Viswa's Shanthi Talkies, has opened to largely positive reviews.
Ram's Paranthu Po features Shiva, Grace Antony, Master Mitul Ryan, Aju Varghese, Anjali, Vijay Yesudas, Dia, Jesse Kukku, Balaji Sakthivel, and Sreeja Ravi. The film has opened to unanimous critical acclaim and appreciation. Earlier this year, the film had a premiere at the 54th International Film Festival of Rotterdam.
Soori has worked with director Ram in the yet-to-be-released film, Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai, starring alongside Nivin Pauly. The comedian and actor is yet to collaborate with Sri Ganesh. Last seen in Maaman, Soori has Mandaadi in the pipeline, apart from the Ram directorial.
