Actor Simran, last seen in Tourist Family, recently spoke to the press during an event and opened up about her opinion on Coolie. She said that she is a Rajinikanth fan and that she absolutely loved the film.

"I'm a big Rajini sir fan, and so I watched the film. I absolutely loved it. I always watch every single Rajini sir film, and irrespective of how it is to others, it is a hit to me. I think only if the story's content is good will everybody like it. But Rajini sir gave his best, nonetheless. I think it's a power-packed film with great action set pieces. I liked the story as well," she said while addressing the press.
