Unmadham follows a constable played by Kunchacko Boban who begins investigating an old case with supernatural undertones while dealing with a fragile family life. The film also stars Siddique, Sudheesh, Vishakh Nair, Sabu Mon, Kottayam Nazeer, Gokulan, Arun Cherukavil, Unni Lalu, Shaju Sreedhar, Krishnaprabha, Kiran Peethambaran, Vishnu, Raina Radhakrishnan, Sijoy Varghese and Vigneswar Suresh.

Produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak under Panorama Studios, Unmadham is presented by Gulshan Kumar and Bhushan Kumar under T-Series Films. On the technical front, the film has cinematography by Arjun Sethu and music by Mujeeb Majeed, with Kiran also in charge of editing.

An excerpt from the CE review of the film reads, "Kiran Das makes a confident debut as a filmmaker, especially in the way he keeps the tension simmering through the first half, extracts strong performances, and executes some bizarre dream sequences that play out like a supernatural thriller, even if they tend to overstay their welcome. The latter half, however, is particularly overstretched, including a stylised fight sequence that just doesn't align with the film's overall tone and mood."
