Actor Nayanthara has finally broken her silence on why she doesn't attend promotions of her films and other events. Speaking at the star-studded trailer launch of the upcoming Yash-starrer Toxic, where she plays a key role, the Test actor underlined how the Geetu Mohandas-directed actioner is special in her career.
"It is not that I don't want to attend promotional events, it is just that I am not very good at it, so I stay away, but this was special for so many reasons. But I think it is just Yash. He just made a call and it was enough for me to attend the event," she said, putting several rumours and speculations to rest.
Nayanthara further went on to thank producer K Venkat Narayana for bringing them all together and believing in Geetu Mohandas' vision. "You are one of the nicest producers I have ever worked with," she remarked, sending her love for her co-stars Tara Sutaria, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi and Rukmini Vasanth. "Rukmini, I have seen the films that you have been doing. They are amazing. Lots of love to you. Kiara, I feel this is one of the best movies you have ever done in your career. There is going to be a Kiara before and after Toxic. You look stunning in the film. Tara, you are such a cute girl like a Disney princess," she added.
Starring Yash in dual roles as estranged father and son who are fueding, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is one of the most expensive films ever made. Besides KVN Productions, Yash's Monster Mind Creations has also backed the movie. The film is co-written by Yash and has garnered massive anticipation.
