We had earlier reported about Jackie Shroff’s upcoming project The Great Grand Superhero — Aliens Ka Aagman. Tentatively billed for Summer release earlier, the film now has a release date. The quirky superhero film will arrive in theatres on May 29, three weeks from now.
Produced by Zee Studios, The Great Grand Superhero promises to be a whimsical lighthearted adventure film about an unconventional superhero — an old man who has a secret superpower, something that’s both boon and bane to his family, especially his grandson who is forced to constantly change schools because of his identity and the dangers that come with it. The announcement teaser of the film was unveiled in March.
The superhero film is written and directed by Manish Saini, who is also producing the film in association with Umesh Kumar Bansal. The lead cast includes Prateik Babbar and Bhagyashree, who was recently seen in Raja Shivaji.
In the technical team, Swathy Deepak helms the cinematography and Deepa Bhatia is the editor. Achint Thakkar and Parth Pandya are credited as music supervisors. More details about the cast are yet to be announced
As of now, The Great Grand Superhero is the only major theatrical release scheduled for last week of May.
