On Monday, Zee studios dropped the announcement video for one of their upcoming projects titled The Great Grand Superhero - Aliens Ka Aagman. Written and directed by Manish Saini, the film promisingly features Jackie Shroff in the titular role and promises to be a quirky superhero film.
The announcement teaser begins with a conversation between two young boys, one of whom tensely shares the story of his family, and why he gets frequently transferred from one school to another — a story which goes back to his family secret. If the secret is out, it could lead to an attack from Aliens, besides leading to his grandpa losing the superpowers. The teaser then establishes Jackie Shroff in a superhero costume, as he smilingly breaks the fourth wall.
Produced by Umesh Kumar Bansal and Manish Saini, The Great Grand Superhero also features Pratiek Babbar and Bhagyashree in the lead cast. More details about the cast are yet to be announced. In the technical team, Swathy Deepak is the cinematographer and Deepa Bhatia is the editor. Achint Thakkar and Parth Pandya are credited as music supervisors.
The makers also announced a tentative release window, sharing that The Great Grand Superhero will arrive in theatres in Summer 2026.
