Adah Sharma to play a unique superhero in her next film Super Velli

On Friday, Adah Sharma took to her Instagram page to announce her next project titled Super Velli. The film is written and directed by Rajesh Bachchani.

Adah also shared a teaser of the film, which captures the light-hearted tonality of the action-caper. In Super Velli, Adah promisingly plays a lackadaisical police officer who lives in Madhya Pradesh, and secretly operates as a superhero. There is also a supervillain in this story, which, in reality, may or may not be her boss. There is another twist in the tale — our superhero suffers from Achromatopsia aka colour blindness. 

More details about the primary cast are yet to be announced.  Shantanu Sawant is the music director. Prashanth Varma is the cinematographer. 

Adah Sharma, who began her career in 2008, achieved great box office success with The Kerala Story (2023). Rajesh Bachchani, who is also the scriptwriter for Super Velli, made his debut 13 years with the thriller Shree.
