It has been five years since the launch of filmmaker Karan Johar's talent management company, Dharma Cornerstone Agency (Now known as Dharma Collab Artists Agency following an act of rebranding). On the special occasion, Karan took to social media to give a shout-out to one of his first clients, actor Harshvardhan Rane.

Taking to his Instagram stories, Karan said that Harshvardhan is "a resilient, solid, talented and loyally relentless force who has hugely made it on his own merit and incredible sincerity and hard work!!" The filmmaker added, "More power to Harshvardhan Rane on his victorious journey at the movies and may he be always blessed with the audience love and success."

In his response to Karan, Harshvardhan expressed his gratitude to the filmmaker for his words of appreciation. Calling his five-year-long journey with Karan's talent management company "solid," Harshvardhan candidly admitted that while some of his choices in the recent past worked, others did not. In between all this, he said that Karan "graciously allowed" him to do the type of films that he wanted to, even if these resulted in failures.

"As one of the first talents to come board, my aim has always been to make the agency proud — and that patiently continues. Here's to building the coming years with even greater strength and stronger integrity," the actor shared.

Interestingly, Harshvardhan made his acting debut not in Hindi cinema but with the Telugu film Thakita Thakita (2010), directed by Sreehari Nanu. It would take the actor another six years to make his debut in Hindi cinema with Sanam Teri Kasam, directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru.

Last seen in Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, Harshvardhan Rane's upcoming films include Silaa and Kun Faya Kun, which has been delayed despite its production wrap in 2021.
