A new poster from Harshvardhan Rane’s upcoming romantic-action drama, Silaa, was unveiled by the makers on Thursday. Also starring Sadia Khateeb, Karanveer Mehra, and Ipsitaa, the film has been helmed by Mary Kom's (2014) director Omung Kumar.

In the poster, Harshvardhan is covered in blood and is holding a blade as he dons an intense look on his face. A circular flame is seen in the background. He plays the character of Virat in the film. Describing him in the caption, the makers wrote, “Ishq mein sukoon, jung mein junoon! Khud mein toofaan. ‘VIRAT’ uska naam! (Patient in love, passionate in war. A storm resides in him. His name is Virat)”.

Silaa is written by Sameer Joshi with dialogues by Aarambh M Singh. The film features music by Ankit Tiwari, Sachet Parampara, Shreyas Puranik and Alexia Evellyn. It is produced by Omung Kumar, Umesh Kumar Bansal, Pragati Deshmukh, Himanshu Tiwari, Ajay Singh, Dhananjay Singh, Abhishek Ankur, and Captain Rahul Bali.

Harshavardhan was last seen in The Miranda Brothers (2024). He found fame again recently after the re-release of his 2016 romantic drama Sanam Teri Kasam, which ended up faring well at the box office. Harshvardhan will also be seen in the film's sequel. He has another film, titled Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat, alongside Sonam Bajwa, in the pipeline.

Sadia, on the other hand, started her journey with Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s Kashmiri Pandit plight tale Shikara (2020). She was last seen in John Abraham’s political thriller, The Diplomat.
