Titled 'Jai Ho - A Tribute to the Bravehearts, the special performance by the team is described as a heartfelt expression of gratitude and deep respect for their courage, sacrifice and commitment.

Set over a period of 80 years, Main Vaapas Aaunga promises to tell two stories at once — first a young romance that unfolds in an undivided India that’s on the cusp of a turbulent upheaval — between Keenu (Vedang Raina), a mild-mannered aspiring poet and Jiya (Sharvari) a spunky young woman who isn’t afraid of taking the lead — and second that of Keenu, now an ageing man (Naseeruddin Shah) who wants to return to his hometown, now in Pakistan, once before he dies. Diljit Dosanjh plays the ageing man’s grandson.
The supporting cast of the film includes Rajat Kapoor, Manish Chaudhary, and Anjana Sukhani.
Jointly backed by Applause Entertainment, Birla Studios, and Window Seat Films, Main Vaapas Aaunga is set for theatrical release on June 12.
